Day 5 !!

I made it!!! 5 days in a row. I can only hope that Amy is proud of me. She knows how difficult it is for me to focus on these things!! Well, it's Spring!! And here are some chili pepper shots to warm things up a little...Along with a giant swoosh and of course , my racecar !
I have really enjoyed participating this week and look forward to the next invitation!! :)

Red Week Day 4

Thursday, and the fourth day of Amy's Red Week. I am pleasantly surprised that I still have red left to find.My kitchen clock, deep red casserole, and my favourite hat. Just a few things to present on this last day of winter! Tomorrow, Spring!!

Red Week-Day 3

I am happy to say that I have yet to run out of Red finds!!

A ceramic vase from Mexico, a chili pepper pitcher, and Jeff's Campbells's recipe tin are my
choices for Wednesday. I hope everyone is enjoying this challenge as much as I am!!

Day 2 of Amy's Red Week.


I am including my Valentine Cool Cat that plays " Crazy little thing called love". Jeff gave me this 2 years ago. A radish pepper shaker. And Summer from my four seasons cross stitch that my sister Laura( Amy's mom) gave me many years ago. It is one of my favourite things!!



I am looking forward to Wednesday.

Red Monday

Well, as I seek out Red items around the house, I am struck by the fact that I do not have much in the way of Red!! This week will be a challenge! But I'm up for it!!


My gumball machine (which is actually full of M&M's because I don't chew gum), was the first thing a spotted. And, anyone who knows me, knows that my kitchen will be a giant source of material this week!! I promise to only use one item a day from there! My chili pepper salt shaker is today's choice! The scary clown is from a set of 4 that I was given and the fishing bobber is readily available around here. Lastly, a yummy bottle of Shiraz finishes off my Monday finds, and it may find itself gone by the end of this evening.

very delinquent

Well, I figured that seen as my entering something in my blog was on my niece's bucket list, I had better do it. See, apparently I am not a very good blogger after all!!

The last time I was on here,it was before Christmas! OMG I truly am the worst blogger ever!!!

Christmas was awesome thanks to Amy and Trevor hosting it! We all had a blast and this year we are having the Ugly Lamp Christmas. I will fill in more details as they come throughout the year!

I spent 4 weeks in Memphis right after New Years. Let's just say, I am really,really glad to be home.

There, we are right up to speed! That didn't take long! I can't wait for spring to be sprung! I bought a new car to replace my P.O.S minivan and am looking forward to driving my Red Rocket.

That brings me to " RED WEEK" , Apparently Amy is hosting it, so I am counting on her to guide me through my first interactive BLOG experience. Hopefully I can be faithful to my blog for a solid week!
